2011 Wisconsin Protest

In early 2011, Union workers protested for more money and better benefits that come with their job. Budget cuts were not giving the workers enough money to support their families. The mayor of Wisconsin wanted to cut 4.2 Billion dollars from the budget. Our unions and teachers felt like they were not getting paid enough and went on strike when congress was trying to pass a new bill. This is what our website will be about.
